Updated: 27-08-2024
A pneumatic elevator is a type of elevator designed to meet the needs of a conventional elevator but in a single-family house, with higher performance. It works by means of a transparent cylindrical tube and a suction assembly. It is not very large and is even aesthetically pleasing.

Operation of a pneumatic elevator
On the rise
The suction assembly creates a vacuum at the top of the tube, generating a pressure difference that “sucks” the cabin upwards.
In the descent
Air is allowed to enter at the top and air is released at the bottom of the tube, allowing a controlled descent of the cabin using gravity.
Advantages of a pneumatic elevator
- Easy installation with no need for construction work or machine room.
- Eco-technological and environmentally friendly.
- Removable and suitable for multiple uses, as it is not a fixed installation.
- Panoramic design with 360º view.
